www.compgeeks.com/details.asp?invtid=PCB0080 Could this be used to do 3d? Does anyone know if this architecture is any better/worse for 3d than a geforce with twinview or a dualhead card? thank, -dameron |

Another link to a similar product is here http://www.teamexcess.com/ under desktops/video cards the Appian J2B is a dual channel 8 mb card that can, according to the Appian pdf: Multi-Monitor DirectX Acceleration—DirectX hardware acceleration is always available when usingonly one monitor. This control enables DirectX hardware acceleration when using multiple monitors to give DirectX applications enhanced performance. With hardware D3D on both monitors one could do dual stero output from any side by side or above/below 3d format. The cards are listed at $49 each with a quantity of around $120. Not too bad if it works. -dameron |
