Just a couple weeks ago, vrealities.com listed the price of the i-glasses svga 3d model as $990. It was only $100 more than the 2d model. Now I see it sells for $1695!!!. What happened to raise the price? Of course it's strange that vrealities.com offers the 3d version when i-O Display Systems doesn't even seem to offer it as an option yet. They simply say in their description that 3D is an optional add-on without giving specifics. |

Thanks for the reply. Could you explain what is the optional component that makes the i-glasses go from 2d to 3d? As I said i-O Display Systems doesn't go into detail about this. Any more info would be helpful. Thanks |

When they list 3D as an optional feature they mean you can get the unit in a 2D Version or 2D-3D Version. There is not an add-on piece for the 2D Version to become 3D. It is a totally different internal design. Also, the I-Glasses SVGA 2D and 2D-3D Versions are only PC compatible without connections for a Video Source at this time. Virtual Realities |

You can get the 2D version from i-glasses for 899. We are talking about the version of i-glasses SVGA that gives you 3D. Currently i-o Display Systems (www.i-glasses.com) does not offer that version on their website. |

Well, I guess there goes the possibility of i-glasses 3d from becoming mainstream, popular, or even a moderate success. I'm terribly disgusted at this pricing model, hell, I can almost build a stereo3d projection system for the same pride. No thanks. -dameron |

Kevin, Dameron, We are not too happy with the price increase either for we had our whole adverstising campaign designed around the $990.00 price. It was quite a shock to us as well. I have to also mention that we are very impressed with the quality of the I-Glasses SVGA 3D. They did a great job with this unit. Virtual Realities |

*sigh* I've been waiting forever for an adequate 3D VR gaming system. I thought maybe i-glasses SVGA could be it, but now, because of the price, it looks like I'll be waiting longer. For all the movies and television shows portraying VR you would think that companies would be trying to bring this to mainstream. |
