I did a search on the board but most of what I found were different glasses or different problems. I have the 23.11 drivers & stereo drivers installed... but it won't turn on the glasses. Anybody have an idea why? Thanks. |

Sounds like I have the same problem also....I have Cyber3dVisor glasses that do not have a switch or button to activate the lenses. When I use the GeForce stereo drivers, I see the doubled image in the test screen, but the glasses do not activate. |

My problem may be similar as well. We bought the H3d glasses with the Terminator back in July at a computer show. When we bought them, the guy didn't tell us it wouldn't work with an LCD monitor OR Win2K. The EyeScream software wouldn't even install and at the time, they had no 2K drivers out. Well, I d/l the latest nVidia (we have GeForce2 MMX 32mb card) drivers and the stereo drivers last night. The Stero Properties tab is finally there ! We now have a Trinitron monitor capable of up to 120Hz at 640x480 (yuck). So far, we can't get the glasses to activate, but we've only tried it at 75hz and 1024x768. We've lost the documentation for the glasses, been so long since we got them and now have a monitor and drivers for Win2K. At this point I'm not even sure we have the batteries in right (also replaced last night) or the terminator set up right ! Aaagggh ! Tried e-mails to c3dnow tech support, hoping to get a copy of the docs. However, if anyone here can send me the same it would be great too. We just hate to have spent $100 on something we can't use. Any input or suggestions would be hugely appreciated !! Thanks ! |

Sounds like you all have the old dumb version of the Terminator. Please check the compatibility table at http://www.stereo3d.com/termiator.htm Christoph |

Tom, you can use the Wicked3D eyeScream2000 under Win9x or eyeScreamPro under Win2k, but not XP yet. Check http://www.wicked3d.com/ Christoph |

Now there's also the brand new VRCaddyXP from http://www.vrcaddy.com/ which should work for your glasses. If not please contact the developers and ask them to include 'i-glasses'-color-code. Christoph |

I have the H3D wireless shutter glasses with a VGA passthru dongle, an nVidia GeForce 2 card, and Windows 2000 and I am having trouble. The glasses and dongle were working fine when I was using them with the software that came on the Wicked3D CDROM with a Banshee adapter under Windows 98. But when I install the dongle on the new system, the screen blanks as the system boots never to return. Also, when I tried to install the Wicked3D software, it refused to install (under Windows 2000). I emailed Wicked3D Support and was told to use the 5.02 (beta) drivers, but they wouldn't install either. I DLed the latest nVidia stereo drivers and control-T does put the screen into stereo mode, but without the dongle, I can't get the glasses to toggle, of course. I seem to be in a bit of a dilemna. Any ideas? |
