I have had a pair of wired Cyber3dVisor glasses for a while, and they worked great on several games when using the Wicked3d drivers. Unfortunately, the glasses only "activate" on a few games, and the glasses/dongle do not have any buttons to activate the flicker. I have a GeForce2 MX400, and installed the latest GeForce drivers including the stereoscopic drivers, but when I run the Nvidia test screen, I see a double image but the glasses do not flicker. So far I tried the H3D Activator program, VRCaddy demo, and Winx3D...but still can't get the lenses of the glasses to flicker during the test screens. The glasses still work when I use the Wicked3D driver, but I'm stuck using only a few old games. Does anyone know a way to "force" the shutters of the glasses to operate on Cyber3dVisors? Thanks in advance for any help! |

What happens when you use H3D-Activator? How does the controller look like? Like the H3D-Terminator? (Check http://www.stereo3d.com/terminator.htm ) Christoph |

Christoph, I definately have the old Terminator-style glasses and dongle. I used the H3D activator and did get the colored bars, but the glasses do not activate when initializing H3D or when using the hotkey during a game. I have been able to get some D3D games running in 3d using Wicked3D, but not in Opengl games. Is there a workaround to get opengl games to work with the Terminator-type setup? If not, what glasses would you recommend for use with a GeForce2 MX 400? Thanks! |

Tom, please try H3D-Controller http://www.i-glasses.com/Doc_file/H3D.exe instead of H3D-Activator. I think i-glasses use a different color-code! Christoph |

Christoph, I'm getting closer...the glasses do activate using H3D-Controller, but the PC screen goes black. My monitor can only go to 115hz in 1024 x 768, and 145hz in 800 x 600. I tried a few res and refresh options, but get the black screen each time. Would this be a refresh rate issue? Thanks again for your help! |

Tom your monitor is quite hot, better than mine. The sync-doubler (over-under format) in the glasses controller doubles the frequency, so you have to configure a refresh rate as low as possible. Start with 640*480 at 60Hz. The controller will turn this into 640*240 at 120 Hz. Next try 800x600 at 60Hz. 1024x768 may or may not work. Do the glasses only react to the over-under hotkey or do they something when you activate Interleaved or Page-Flip also? Christoph Christoph |

Christoph, My goof, I tried page-flip, and they activated perfectly. I use the Nvidia stereo driver and the H3D controller, and it works great on every game I've tried so far. Thanks again for your help! |
