New poster. I see a lot of issues with XP, but I have 2000. I have a GeForce2 64 MX400 board on a 2K machine. I just got the i-glasses wireless product and went to the nvidia site. Installed the 23.11 Detonator 2000/XP video and Stereo drivers. After installation of first the Video and then the Stereo driver, I cannot bring up the Advanced screen under Settings (from Control panel - display). I get a message like "windows has an issue with desk.cpl". I read a few other posts that said go back to generic drivers (safe mode), delete all nv*. from the system32 and inf directories. This at least allowed me to get to the generic advanced screen, but once again when I go through the intallation I get the same error message. Are these drivers wrong ? Do I need a previous version? (Can't get older versions from nvidia site. Please help. Thanks. |

Actually, you can download previous drivers from Nvidia site. On the download page for win 2k/XP detonator drivers, there is a link called "driver archive", to previous versions. |
