I replaced a TNT2 Ultra with a geforce2 mx 400 card. Using this card along with the detenator
drivers 23.11 and the stereo drivers from Nvidia, I have been able to get the stereo effect on some
openGL games that I previously could not using the
TNT2 card. The only problem I seem to have is trying to get Silent Hunter II to run either in regular mode or stereo - It operates for about
20 seconds then the whole system locks up. This was never a problem with the TNT2. I have tried
numerous modifications (turning down card
acceleration, turning off antialaising, etc.
I know their are many different factors that could
contribute to this lockup - but it seems to occur
only in this program (SH II) and only with this
card - any suggestions would be appreciated as I
have done everything that I could think of...
