Hi, Which options are better? Is it better to buy the VR Standard glasses (http://www.vrstandard.com) and just use the nVidia 3D-Stereo driver or should I buy the ASUS GeForce3 Deluxe with the 3D goggles? I am sure it would be more expensive to get the ASUS package, but which is better? I know that the VR Standard goggles actually have a thing where you plug it into your monitor and I was thinking that it might be better but I am not really sure so I decided to ask you guys. I am planning to buy a brand new PC. I plan to purchase a very powerful system. So which is the better option, a GeForce3 Ti200 with the VR Standard goggles with the Stereo3D drivers from nVidia, or the ASUS GeForce3 Deluxe (Ti500) with the goggles? Regards, Benjamin. |

The VRStandard glasses are more flexible and compatible. The best choice would be to have VRStandard and an ASUS board. ASUS own 3D-driver has some advantages and disadvantages compared to the nVidia driver. With an ASUS board you always can choose between both drivers. The ASUS-mode of the nVidia driver seems to be buggy in most cases, so you may even run into severe problems when using the ASUS glasses. Christoph |
