I just replaced my old Elsa card with a Ti4600 and used the latest Nvidia drivers (28.32) and NVidia 23.11 stereo drivers. The revelators work great with the test programs and with Unreal Tournament. Jedi Knight II looks terrible. For brief periods it will look fine, but most of the time there are gross visual errors like multiple copies of objects smeared across the screen or invisible parts of walls. It looks fine in 2D. I tried adjusting most of the available video settings and tried disabling T&L with GeForce TweakUtility. Without T&L it was a little better, but still bad. Nothing else seemed to have an effect. Any ideas? I believe Jedi Knight is OpenGL. |

I got it to work fine with a GeForce 2 MX and the revelators though the first time I fired it up the right eye didn't work properly. Playing with some of the settings (bit depth etc) and disabling the OpenGL extensions seemed to fix the problem and now it works perfectly every time. |

Don't know if this will help, but I had the same problems with Jedi Outcast when using my i-glasses svga 3d. Their was a lot of odd white polygons that would flash. I also noticed that the right eye images would get stuck on one frame while the left eye images would be ok. However I found an easy solution. Instead of starting in 3D mode, set the driver up to select 3D by hotkey (default is Ctrl+T). Then after you have started the game enable stereo mode. This fixed all my problems. |

Thanks, I'll try that. I have since noticed that the error is only in 1st person view. 3rd person viewing is basically flawless. -Steve |

Steve, BTW, I should have mentioned that I have a GeForce4 Ti4600 too, and I am using the same reference drivers as you except that I'm using the 28.32 version of the stereo drivers, so you may want to upgrade. |

Ok, it turns out that it is GL Extensions that's causing the problems. I just realized I had it off. When I turned it back on, I got exactly the type of problems you had reported. Everthing else seems fine for me. 32-bit textures, all detail turned up to maximum, etc. |

Thanks again Neil. That definitely helps, but I still see the errors especially around bright lights in the game. Maybe the next driver set will straighten things out. |

Steve W, Just this weekend I reformatted my system and resintalled everthting. I initially installed the Detonator 28.32 Driver and 28.32 Stereo control panel. Interestingly when I went to play Jedi Outcast, I had all the problems you have, but this time, turning Open GL Extensions off, did not work. After trying every possible combination to no avail, I reformatted and tried again. This time, I installed the very latest drivers (29.40 for XP) along with the 28.32 stereo applet again. This time I have no problems (again with Open GL Extensions turned off). I'm not sure why that problem occurred, or even if the new drivers were what fixed it. What kind of system do you have? |

Neil, I use Win98 now, and am using the latest drivers available. 28.32 and 23.11. Maybe I need to break down and switch to XP? |

I am having the same problems under JK Outcast and I am using Win9x 29.42 WHQL drivers on my Ti4600. When I was using my old Geforce 2 GTS about one week ago I was still having the same problems under all drivers above 23.11. So I decided to wait for a fixed driver supporting Geforce 4 (23.11 doesn't support Geforce 4). But I used to have the same problems with SoF II MPDemo but final release seems to be fixed. Now I am waiting a fix for the JK Outcast. |

Well, I updated my drivers to 29.42 and the game works fine in first person as long as GL extensions are off (thanks Neil). When GL extensions are on, the errors are not as bad as before but still pretty bad. |

Detonator 29.80's seem to have fixed all the display problems in Jedi Outcast. I can now turn Open GL Extensions on which allows me to turn on very high textures without experiencing choppy frames. Very nice. Having a blast playing Jedi Outcast on my i-glasses svga 3d. |
