I believe ether win3D or VRcaddy uses an IRQ to work. Does anyone know how to find out what IRQ it uses? When I start a game it runs fine for awhile and than the screen becomes unstable. I have to hit the insert button to turn it off and back on to get it back. |

WINx3D only hooks a hardware IRQ for the ATI drivers under Windows NT/2K/XP. Other then that, no IRQ's are hooked. However, WINx3D does use internal timing resources. With some slow computers, or some hard drives, or some network cards, these timing resources can become be preempted, and the timing becomes confused. What OS and video card are you using? Do you have any ISA cards in your computer? |
