I know there are several people out there with problems when using the NVIDIA XP drivers instead of the ASUS. In fact I had it too, and hopefully I got my system 100% trouble free with the new drivers from NVIDIA including getting to WORK the VR 100G 3D GLASSES WITHOUT getting the GAMES Rebooting !!!

Okay, I´ll pass how I did it, maybe it can works for you too. First I removed every driver from Windows XP (Uninstall). I have installed the ASUS BETA Drivers, and after that I have installed the NVIDIA (Latest version) WITHOUT REMOVING THE ASUS drivers, and when it asks for REBOOT I ASKED NO and Installed the 3D STEREO DRIVER from NVIDIA, after that I rebooted the machine, and BOOOOOOYYYYYY ... MY system is PRETTY GOOD, NO reboots, NO Freezes, NOTHING... ALL GAMES, including the SERIOUS SAM IS PERFECTLY in 3D.

Now I need only ONE advice. I SEE THE GAME using the GLASSES (VR 100G), but it ISN´T WHAT People are saying that THINGS go OUT OF SCREEN !!! This is not true, the graphics is really 3D with the glasses, but the screens goes TOWARDS the monitor, NOT FORWARD. I have spected to see things coming to my NOSE!!!! :-)

Okay, any ideias?

Hey, thanks for the advise, I'll try it out.

The "Out of moniter" effect can be increased by increasing the emboss and view angle and experiment with the (+ -) shutter settings.

The "Out of moniter" effect is not the true goal for stereoscopic graphics though, just good clean depth perception.

I'm using Win98SE, and I found Reference Detonators to be much more "compartible" then ASUS drivers (especially with new titles). And I, too, have installed Stereo Detonators over ASUS drivers (didn't try pure Reference Detonators). That's what I did:
1. Installed ASUS 28.80
2. Installed NVidia 3D STEREO DRIVER 28.32 (without installing Detonators)
Now I can use both ASUS and NVidia stereo capabilities.
Videocard - ASUS V7100 (GeForce2 MX), glasses - SimulEyes with regular path through (blue line code) and with homebrew path through (sync on VSync).

About THINGS go OUT OF SCREEN:
NVidia driver - use "convergence" (Ctrl-F5, Ctrl-F6)
ASUS driver - use "embossment".
Good "Out of monitor" effect can be seen in NVidia driver test. Allso Q3 and Half Life - your weapon goes out of screen.
