I just purchased a pair of "Another I's" wireless 3d glasses. I've got a P4 1.6 / 512mb Ram / ATI Radeon8500 LE 128mb / WinXP. I cant get these glasses to work for shit. Most of the 3d stereo drivers dont seem to work for winXP and the few that do (VRcaddyXP and Win3D) dont seem to get giving me anything. The VGA pass-thru controller has a line-blanker feature which should work for still images regardless of VideoCard / OS / Monitor, but it doesn't work at all. I dont know if the glasses are broken or its my setup or what... Can someone please help me? If anyone has either the AnotherI's or the AnotherEYE2000 glasses, please let me know. Thanx | ||

VRCaddy.com has a fopum of their own, ask them there if you cant get the driver to work. | ||

Where are you at? There is a chance that either your glasses is all out of order or just the Lineblanker does not work. Even though your Linebalnker does not work, you may able to test it whether pageflip works. You can test it with just Winx3D or VRCaddyXP. VRCaddy has a special version that supports pageflip under WindowsXP with all ATI cards. | ||

I think that the glasses might be busted. I tried to test it using VRCaddyXP, but I got jack. I just picked up a pair of ELSA revalator glasses (like the E-D, Wicked3D glasses, etc) and these work with VRCaddyXP/Winx3D. It sucks, though. It only works for DirectX7 and I tried it in some games that were claimed to be supported and it just crashed. 3Dmark2000 and the Evo4x4 demo work though. I want to exchange the AnotherI's for the AnotherEye2000 which has line-blank, page-flip, and a sync-doubler which should have better compatibility. Besides that I'm ready to get a GeForce card and downgrade to Windows95 or something. I dont care, I just want it to work already. |
