I'm using a GeForce2 MX400 with Nividia Drivers ver 12.41 w/12.41 stereo drivers to match and Revalator Glasses - also have directx 8.0 loaded no problems....but when I add directx 8.1 - I lose the stereo effect. In the "medical test area" there are 2 separate boxes instead of one large box with a smaller one in the center. This same problem occurs when i updated to ver 30.87 and I did do a complete uninstall even using detonator destroyer. Sorry for the long post, but I've run out of solutions...would be greatfull for any suggestions. |

Hi. Which OS are you using? If you want to try to make a clean install of the 3d drivers do this: Uninstall the stereodrivers first from the controlpanel. Don't restart, open up regedit. Local machine-software-NvidiaCorporation-Global. Delete stereo 3D. Install again. Try it. It helped me with some issues. By the way. Do you have any problems with the screendepth and the backplane hotkeys? Regards.Jesper. |

I have a "Wicked3d" set of 3D Glasses(purchased from Ebay) and a Nivida MX400 64MB Graphics card but the drivers that are with it seem not to support the Nivida card...and the wicked3d website seems to no longer exist?? Anyone e-mail me some ideas/drivers? (I have adsl!) normanbland@btopenworld.com Thanks in advance guys Norman |

As you have NVidia Graphics Card, you should not use Wicked3d Drivers but nvidia stereo drivers |

.. just too bad that the NVidia drivers don't know how to trigger the Wicked3D controller :-( IIRC, there was some report (either here or at stereovision.net forum) about limited success using either Ghazaly's H3D activator, the Eye3D activator or the E-Dimensional activator together with the NVidia drivers and Wicked3D glasses. Maybe you can find someone with broken IR Revelator glasses - the Revelator emitter works with Wicked3D glasses. |

What!!!! The Wicked3D (it's an H3D controller) works just fine with the Nvidia Stereo drivers. Both wired and wireless work. Sheez I've been using these drivers for years. A little registry editing may be required for the latest drivers, but they too work. |

@JMS - Until proven false, from Norman's posting I'd assume that he got the original Wicked3D glasses, which started as H3D in 1997 and changed to Wicked3D EyeScream when Wicked3D added their generic driver in 1998 (look here). They had no wired glasses, just IR, and no other control for the controller but colored line codes in the video signal - that's what the different 'activator' programs mentioned above generate. You, OTOH, obviously got the new H3D Terminator/Cruiser from IO Display, which got a completely different controller (that also works with the Revelator signals generated by the NVidia driver), and also wired glasses. |
