Hello, i have bought the Infrared Elsa Revelator at ebay..Now i have some Proplems to get it work. First i saw.. that the batteries were em,pty :-] ok but now only the right eye-lens works(it shutters) i have the latest Detonator XP Stereo Driver for my Crative Geforce4 MX440, my system is a AMD 2000+ 500MB ram creative LIve!Platinum MSI mainboard(with all onboard features disabled) the Soundcard and Display adapter are on irq 11 but that made no probs until yet. my monitor is a 6 year old Belinea 105596 17" with a synch : 30-85 HZ horizontal 50-120 Hz Vertical I rhink it has something do do with the refresh rate of the monitor that only the right lens works? i hope u can help me! |

I am definitely not an expert on stereo 3D, all my knowledge comes from my experience with my ASUS glasses which came with the GF Ti 4200 card. So weight my opinion accordingly. It seems to me that your glasses are busted. If it was the situation when one eye remains dark and the other one is clear (no shuttering) I'd think there is something wrong with the controller which does not activate the glasses. However, if one eye shutters the controller must be working leaving the glasses to be the primary suspect. I don't think you monitor can affect only one eye. Just my 2 cents, Serge. |

yes thar should be..but if i tried to turn them on the first time..both!worked for some seconds.. it has to be something about the Hard or software.. the glasses didt fall down! please help!! |

Sounds suspicioulsy like the wiring lost contact. See this 'dead IR Revelators' thread at stereovision.net and some references there. Looks like it can be fixed without completely breaking the glasses (I couldn't, or didn't try hard enough :-( ), but that requires some delicate fiddling with the LCD panels and internal cabling of the eyewear. |

Danke Thanx Andreas, maybe this will solve the Problem..now 24 hours passed and i tried the Glasses again..and the left lens dont work now..yesterday it worked some times..it MUST be the contacts!!..maybe someone can give me a detailed Explanation how to repair this without breaking the glass..Andreas i was on the link..i think i have the same problem as this guy..but he didt explain exactly how he solved it..or my english is to bad :-] thank u for searching the tread.. Anyone konw how tho pull out the LCD display from this IR shutter glasses???? |

JUSt A FEW MINUTES LATER........ hello again..i solved the Problem @Andreas u were right!! the link helped me! it was a contact problem of the LCD display..so it shutters now (both lenses ;-) lets await the next problems...driver?hard or software? :-) thanks..until next time...(tomorrow?)... peace |
