Hi,

Just bought a pair of wired E-D glasses (www.eDimensional.com) last week after reading a whole lotta reviews. I have been able to get most of my games to work except for my favorites: MOHAA, SOF2, JK2JediOutcast.

My system specs:
* (HP 9870) Intel P4 1.3GHz WinMe w/ 640Mb RDRAM
* MSI GeForce4 Ti4400
* 19" ViewSonic A90f CRT monitor
My 3dMark score is > 7000 and my monitor's refresh rate is slightly > 100Hz @ 1024x768.

nVIDIA Display driver: 30.82
nVIDIA Stereo driver: 30.87

Problems:
1. My Stereo settings are never saved! I have to repeat the test everytime after I reboot.
2. My system freezes (sometimes displays an error with nvopengl.dll) everytime I try to enable stereo (Ctrl-T) in MOHAA, SOF2, JK2JO!

I have been in touch with eDimensional support and they are being very helpful, nevertheless they cannot seem to fix my problem. I have tried using the latest 40.72 WHQL-certified nVIDIA display drivers but the Stereo tab disappears when I install this, and I cannot enable in-game stereo!

I have 30 days from the date of purchase to return the product; I love what I see so far but I dont wanna keep something that I know doesn't work completely. I would greatly appreciate your tips/suggestions. You can also email me at cibsbui@hotmail.com.

THANX IN ADVANCE

Hi, and sorry my english

I has the same 1) problem and I posted some time ago about: this problem seems caused by an "overlapping" of stereo drivers (for example installing 30.82, then 30.87), so UNINSTALL all nvidia driver, boot in safe mode, enter in \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 and delete all nv*.* files, reboot normally, reinstall driver (30.87 stereo and his companion 30.87 video) and all works fine now for me (in my case uninstalling from "install/uninstall app" does nothing).

Your 2nd problem is -IMO- a consequence of the first problem: to use CTRL+T is almost necessary to check the "always use stereo frequencies", otherwise the game is forced to change frequency during play (and crashes).

bye
