I play mostly FPS's, and I can't see the aiming reticle right(I see 2 of them and have to aim in the middle or close one eye). It's ok if i eliminate almost all of the seperation, but that takes away the 3d effect. Do i just need to get used to this or is that the only solution. Also, many of the games i have don't use the laser sights included with the stereo drivers. The games i play are Medal of Hnor: Allied Assault, Ghost Recon, and Battlefield 1942. |

You have to enable the laser sight in your registry, this is unfortunately a huge option oversight by nvidia. If you need info about editing your registry, you can contact me by e-mail. |

Apparently alot of you are having this problem based on the number of e-mails I've recieved, so I'll just post the info here. ***warning*** be careful when editing the registry. All changes are instantaneous and modifying the wrong thing can crash you computer. That being said, this is how you add the laser sight to a game: First of all you need to find out how the stereo drivers identify your game. To do that you look in the folder c:\nvstereo.log\ There you will find files for each of your games that are not included with the stereo driver. Now that you know the name of the game file you're looking for, we go to the registry. Go to Start, run, and type regedt32. Now go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D\GameConfigs\[the name of your game] Over in the right side window right click/new/DWORD Value. Name the value LaserSight. Double click on the new LaserSight entry and make the value 1. Exit regedt and you're done. |
