I recently purchased a pair of i-Visor glasses and am having a problem with the ipd adjustment and focus. I have gone through all of its connectivity options and everything seems to be working properly, however I seem to be unable to get a clear image edge to edge no matter how I adjust the ipd wheel. I can adjust the ipd so that I get the left edge in focus, yet the right is slightly out of focus. If I adjust for the right edge, then the left edge is slightly out of focus - this is with either s-video (consoles) or svga (laptop) input. Have others with this unit experienced a similar problem? Should I be able to get edge to edge focus with this hmd? Might I just have a set with out of focus optics? The other hmd that I have owned for some time now, is a set of virtual i-glasses VPC (which don't require any ipd adjustment) and which also happen to have a nice clear image edge to edge. Is the focus issue with the i-Visor something indicative of an hmd that has optics with an ipd adjustment? Any help/comments are greatly appreciated. |
