I installed the NVIDIA 3D Stereo Driver 30.87 (the most recent version). I set it to use anaglyph mode, instead of page flipping. I then tried the following sequence: Display Properties > Settings > Advanced > Stereo Properties > Additional Properties > Anaglyph The NVIDIA 3D_Stereo_User_Guide.pdf (chapter 5, Tips and Troubleshooting, Page 45) says that the sequence I listed above should show in a tabbed dialog box the current anaglyph filter colors (usually red and blue) and allow you to customize them. On my system, pressing the Anaglyph tab does not show this. Instead, the Anaglyph tab disappears, and the General tabbed dialog box becomes blank except for a Set button. I first tried this while running the NVIDIA Detonator Driver 40.72 that came with the system. I then downgraded to Detonator Driver 30.87, so as to match the 3D Stereo Driver, but the problem remained. To make the problem clearer to you, I have uploaded 2 ".jpg" files to my home page. Go to http://sleibowitz.home.att.net/AnalglyphCorrect.jpg to see how the NVIDIA documentation says the dialog box should look. Go to http://sleibowitz.home.att.net/AnaglyphBug.jpg to see what I actually encounter. I have tried this on a second system, and it has exactly the same problem. Unfortunately, NVIDIA does not provide end-user support. I queried Gainward some time ago about the problem, but they have not responded. |
