Hello, I have been fighting this problem for 2 weeks now. Setup: PC1. Athlon 1.33 GHz, nVidia GF4, win2k SP2, Revelator. Does not work. The most I could get was that the test application to work OK (NOT the medical image, the one with the 2 squares, but the one with the nVidia rotating logo to be OK). None of the 3D games work properly, the glasses do NOT activate (neither when used with the dongle or hooked up directly to the 3 pin DIN port on the card). I tried a LOT of combinations of drivers (29.80, 30.82, 30.87, 41.09,. 42.30 regular and Omega, 43.30), fix the refresh rate to 100Hz, nVidia various tools off the download section, uninstall the drivers in safe mode, clean up system, reinstall new drivers, various registry hacks, use a extra VGA cable with pins 12 and 15 disconnected, nothing worked. I am at the end of my wits after 2 weeks of fighting. The nVidia test app works, the games flicker a double image as if they would work, but the glasses do NOT activate in 3D. PC2. Intel P3/850, Asus GeForce3 with Asus VR100 glasses, nVidia drivers 43.30. Everything works FINE in 3D. Why can't I get the Revelators to work on PC1 ? It is driving me crazy. Thanks for the help ! I've got the same problem, and I tried the same solutions... without any success (see my message in "3D News - announce and discuss new products & services here" asking for feedback on new nVidia drivers). Is there anyone who managed to use Revelator with GF4 and W2K or W98 ??? |

The critical thing is to set the refresh override in the nVidia control panel (under display properties/GeForce4) under Stereo/Advanced Stereo/Direct3D/More Direct3D and set to 100 Hz or better EACH resolution that the games may use. Took me a while, but the way I figured that the nVidia hacks were not working for the 60Hz refresh override was by looking at the OSD on the monitor and seeing that it stayed at 60Hz under D3D regardless of what I was telling it to do. Works great with 43.03 both driver and stereo add-on plus DirectX 9. Konrad |

The test program (with the NVIDIA logo) says : (1024x768x16x100^) (hw vp): NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 and the OSD says : 100.5Hz I guess it should be OK... Actually, I observed during the test that my revelator synchronize during about 1s every 12s... Anyone else is experiencing this ? |

Well im using win98sec and a geforce3 ti500, using 43.35 and 43.03 drivers, I know they are better then the last batch, cause SOF2 used to freeze after 5 sec's, no more freeze... I use 16bit 100 fresh 1024x768.. start game and then ctrl c, BINGO 3D..... |
