So what's the story? Do they work good? I've had one since I bought my i-glasses svga 3d, 15 months and 1500 dollars ago (cough), and I could never get them to work. Even with the latest drivers. Here are my questions: 1. Do you have to start the driver while having your VirtuaTrack on a table so that it can calibrate correctly, or are you wearing yours when you activate the driver? 2. Is the tracking good or is there signifigant lag? 3. Does moving your head x degrees left/right/up/down correlate to the same degrees in a game? Thanks |

U have it and u did nt try it. man u have to plug the tracker first lol. then plug the power. right. u should hear little spark on the tracker. i suggest to unplug it when u have done cause maybe u will destroy them after 1 years on lol. after u just start the firetracker 1.2 then star your game without moving to much your head cause the mouse will become insane. if the mouse is to fast then stop the firetracker then go to the windows mouse configuration and slow down the mouse speed. so conclusion. 1.plug it 2.wear it 3.start fire tracker 4.start the game 5.configure in game mouse speed 6.smoke a join 7.enjoy. or try lol cause quake game suck and only flight simulator gave me the smile i haved pay 1500 dollars ( cough ). But it kick some serious ass there. |

Hi, I have bough glasses svga 3d and the virtuatrack as well, and I have the same issues ie: - Very hard to configure (even with the last driver) - After fighting hard, I succed to make it work, but configuration was another story. - even under windows, the 'mouse moving' is not good at all! I have to simulate the roll to move on the X axis. Y axis looks ok. Imagien after 5 minutes... - Games are not well supported. Of course you can start the game with the tracker, but it's hard to control. Anyway, if already under window it's hard to control, imagine in a game... So in conclusion, I'm very disappointed... because I believe in thisa technology. In the futur, everybody wil have iglasses and head tracker at home (for games, internet, etc..) imagine shopping in a 3d worl with iglasses and headtracker!! I just released a 3d game (pool / billard game) and I'm almost done with the headtracker pluging, but it's hard to control, as usual........ here is the link, http://www.geocities.com/calzada_us/Billard3D/Pool.html Franck |

So is the Gyro tracker or VR-tracker(same thing) a better tracker to get over the Vurtua-Track ? |

Download the latest virtuatrack driver, turn down the mouse sensitivity in every game and it will work like a charm. Oh, and when you first start your computer make sure the virtuatrack is still and not moving until your computer is fully on. |

The VR-tracker is the way to go. No need for drivers. |

You can buy a gyromouse in ebay for $23.99 (cheap) and make your own VR-tracker for alot less than $399!!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3072282911&category=14954 |

"I disagree", Your using the VirtuaTrack to emulate a mouse. What emulates a mouse better then a mouse ?!? Use a gyromouse based tracker and save yourself the headaches. And yes you can purchase the gyromouse on ebay and do alittle work yourself and save alot of money. |

If you want to follow steps 11 thru 14 in the VRGun build documentation, http://www.geocities.com/mellott124/VRGunBuild.htm it will show you essentially how to build a VRTracker. Just put it in enclosures like shown in the pictures found here: http://www.geocities.com/mellott124/VRTracker.htm instead of the gun enclosures. -Kevin |

Thanks Kevin but the VirtuaTrack also does key mapping which I need for the flight simulator I am making. The VRTracker is just a mouse. I have decided to go with the VirtuTrack. Thanks. |
