This was covered in the FAQ but I don't think the answere was valid. I am short sighted but I have wateched a 3D Film before at a theme park (using Red/Cyan) glasses. Since then I've been trying to get hold of Red/Cyan glasses for my PC. Today I got hold of a some. However after setting up my GeForce 4 using 43.03 Drivers and putting the glasses on. The screen looks like it does with out stero on. The glasses sort the colors out but don't create a stero effect. (BTW If I take the glasses off the screen is weird with lots of different colors) Why Is this? Like I said i've used Red/Cyan before. Could people please e-mail any responses to me. |

It only works if the image is encoded as Red/Green stereo. The image for the left eye is the same overall color as the lens in front of your left eye. Same goes for the right eye. Just using Red/Blue glasses doesn't make an image look 3D. |

Possibly the glasses you've bought have the colored filters reversed. Turn the glasses inside out ( or upside down ) and see if you get a stereo effect. |

The images where encoded. As red/Cyan color via the Nvidia Drivers. I'll try the inverse thing. Thanks |

I tried the inverse thing and it didn't work. I turned them around so red was over the right eye and that didn't do anything. Then I turned them over so they lens where reversed. |

You could post a screenshot so we can see what's wrong with the image. See 'Formatting' how to add a image to your posting. |

In the "stereo" game try pressing Ctrl-F3 or Ctrl-F4 to adjust stereo convergence. Otherwise you sometimes get serious ghosting. Search for anaglyph galleries and test your glasses on some 3d images to satisfy yourself your glasses are okay and normally the red filter covers your left eye cyan right eye. |

Also, Not all games work in stereo, some only give you marginal results. I don;t know if you're trying this with a game, but if you are knowing which game would help imensily. Another thing to note, anaglyph is never as good as shitter glasses, you might wanna get a pair of those |

Try red/cyan glasses. They may be slightly better: http://www.berezin.com/3d/3dglasses.htm#Anaglyph |

I bought a pair from 3Dstereo.com about a month ago. Good quality glasses. I didn't like anaglyph at all. The red side is much darker than the cyan and caused a great deal of eye strain after just a few minutes. The stereo effect was good and I was able to use both 4xAA and 8x ansio. It's a shame but luckily I only spent $11.00. John |
