I am trying to get rid of the annoying flicker that you get when watching field Sequential 3d DVDs on CRT televisions. I have LCD glasses that I bought from Razor3d and i-glasses.com, and I was wondering if there was a way that I could double the sync rate to the wireless glasses to 120hz to see flicker free video. Are there any products that work in conjunction with field sequential systems to get rid of flicker? Thanks! | ||

Supposedly, there is what is called a "field doubler", (not a "sync-doubler", which separates the fields and doubles the height) which shows each field twice, i.e., you get 120 fields per second (NTSC) and no flicker... but this is only what I read on Andrew Woods' site (a brief mention) and don't know specifics. The only references I have found so far look rather expensive. Any added info will help me, too, as this will also solve my interlaced anaglyph flicker on a CRT... identical to the flicker when using shutterglasses... PKK |
