I just bought a pair of Another EYE 2000 stereo glasses from ebay. They are brand new. Im beggining to think they are defective. Im using windows XP and 45.23/45.23 match up of the NVIDIA Drivers. The medical test image DOES NOT work at all in stereo mode. If I place the setting to analygraph mode and use a pair of cheapo paper 3d glasses I can actually see the squares properly in the medical test image. It appears the glasses are not syncing the images together or something. I turn them "on" with the switch, and the screens become noticeably dark, vary dark actually and there is no 3d effect at all. It looks the same as if I look at the screen with no glasses on but just darker. Ive tried adjusting separation, gamma the whole 9 yards and I cannot figure this out. I believe the mode is in page-flip by default, changing the modes with the buttons does not produce a 3d effect either. Are these glasses supposed to be so dark when turned on ? Is there some way to "Activate" them that I dont know about ? This is driving me crazy please somebody help!!!!!!!!!!! |

Forget the medical test image. Go straigth to the test application or a game. Make shure you have choosen DDC VGA in the nVidia panel and autosync mode on the glasses. If this doesn't help contact the distributor. Christoph |

Q: My directx games dont work but mu opengl games work! A: This is a huge problem with first time users with stereoscopic glasses as my self, i couldnt get my directx games to work, but my OpenGL games worked som how. This is a very weird problem but the solution is to disable all image enchancing options, for example Anti-aliasing, and Anisotropic Filtering. I think the problem with this is that the stereo drivers disable all the extras but when the main drivers load they override the stereo drivers and makes the game just normal. A way to tell if you have this problem is if you load up a Directx game (*UT2003, NOLF) when you play the game seems normal but when you toggle stereo on off or when you adjust the ratio the screen moves side to side. I really hope this helps people! |

Just got anothereye 2000 also. Installed 56.64 stereo drivers, 56.64 graphic driver already was installed. Using g4ti4600. When ran test application thru nvidia stereo setup, it works just fine in all resolutions, including 1024X768 at 100 hz. But when i try to launch any game, nothing works. Half life just crashes. SOF2 will start like two images side by side. Totally looks like crap, after a little while SoF2 also crashes and driver won't release display so have to reboot. Should I do uninstall - reinstall procedures, or maybe I'm doing something wrong? Never used 3d glasses before, please help me out |

I just got another eye2000 too and have same problem as original poster. Both lenses darken, I run the test, even running at 144 Hz 800x600 I don't get a 3D image. Tried multiple resolutions and refresh rates, nothing works. I think page flip is on by default. I've tried the R and M buttons too. Nothing seems to work. I'm so frustrated. |
