Hey there my multidimensional friends, I have a problem. My eyeforce shutter glasses run brilliantly on my LG 17" monitor (no, that's not the problem). For some reason they won't work on my 17" likom flat screen. It works for about 2 seconds, then stops working for about 10 seconds, then works again for 2. I run the most recent nvidia driver for 3D. I've tried all different resolutions and refresh rates, but to no avail. I have a Geforce 3, AMD athlon 2100. |

Don't think tft/lcd support stereo, or that's at least what i have seen on various sites on the net. That's with emitter and shutterglasses, maybe different for you though. |

hey, I just got 3d glasses and they won't work on my monitor. It is rear projection (CRT) but it is flat screen. Is that why the glasses won't work? I thought tft was something different altogether but not sure what tft is exactly. |

Flat CRT screens are fine with Shutter glasses! I can't beleive anyone would buy a non-flat screen these days. I use an NEC flat-aperture grille 19" Thin Film Transistor LCD monitors don't work. If your Likom monitor is CRT it sounds like the refresh rate is going out of sync with the glasses. Did you re-run the 'stereo setup and test' utility in the Nvidia display drivers? If so, does the Nvidia logo demo exihbit this behaviour? Have you tried all the resolutions? Did your Likom monitor come with .inf files to install? |
