With NVIDIA driver 56.56 there is an OSD you can use to help visualize setting convergence and other values. Just cut the following text to a .reg file and launch it to enable. (Change the value to 0 and launch to disable or remove.) -------------------------------------------- REGEDIT4 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D] "StereoOSDEnable"=dword:00000001 -------------------------------------------- Caveats(Its pretty early version - Use at your own risk): 1. It makes the game run in very slow mode when it's on the screen. (It comes up automatically when any known hotkey is hit and stays for about 3 seconds after) 2. I found that sometimes the feature of holding the hotkey down to change a value doesn't work and you have to hit the key repeatedly to get values to change. 3. It appears to sample a "slice" out of the middle of the scene so it won't be completely accurate in all cases. Comments: This is really just a first pass at this and I wouldn't be to critical of it. It's way harder in these days of advanced graphics to pull something like this off than back in the ELSA days. So any comparisons to that OSD will probably be unfair. Besides we want more things like this, so I suggest you pepper your negative comments with some positive ones... Cheers. |

Thank you for the hint. This is really interesting. Is this really something new and "in development" or is it some old, abandoned code from earlier versions? Christoph |

It's new work. I don't think much effort will be put into it since it really doesn't get you a whole lot. Certainly there is no reason to "dress it up" visually. That's unless there is a lot of interest indicated by users. Cheers. |

Well, I want it badly. At least it's nice to have an immediate feedback on the hotkeys. Christoph |
