Q: My directx games dont work but my opengl games work! A: This is a huge problem with first time users with stereoscopic glasses as my self, i couldnt get my directx games to work, but my OpenGL games worked som how. This is a very weird problem but the solution is to disable all image enchancing options, for example Anti-aliasing, and Anisotropic Filtering. I think the problem with this is that the stereo drivers disable all the extras but when the main drivers load they override the stereo drivers and makes the game just normal. A way to tell if you have this problem is if you load up a Directx game (*UT2003, NOLF) when you play the game seems normal but when you toggle stereo on off or when you adjust the ratio the screen moves side to side. I really hope this helps people! |

Don't forget that to see a 3d image you actually generate a left and a right view of the scene alternatly. This actually improves image quality as it goes some way to remove the jaggies inherent in diagonal lines in a scene.... So don't lament the loss of AA |
