Hi, I have a pair of E-D wired glasses, a GF 5950, and am using Nvidia's 56.72/56.72 stereo drivers. I've gotten the game to run near perfectly at one point in time......and for a couple of gaming sessions afterwards. My only problem was that the lasersight would not appear with the hud off, and it would not focus on a target at the targets' depth as a true lasersight would. After closing, and reopening a game one time it all just STOPPED! The 3d image became generic, and would not "pop" out of the monitor at all! After playing with the hotkeys for a LONG while, I was SOMEHOW able to get the lasersight to do what it was supposed to, (so cool), but the 3d images were very out of focus, and I was never EVER able to get anything to pop out of the screen again. I reverted back to the 56.64 drivers without any improvement whatsoever. With the 56.72 drivers, it appears that sometimes when I load the game the 3d "true" images will work without much tweaking, but most times not. Also, all hotkeys will not work for me at all while in an online game. One problem may be that I am running this game with a generic Gateway monitor that only supports a refresh rate of 75hz @1024 x 768. I can force that rate up to 85hz, but the game still forces me to play it @ 75hz (I'm assuming it's detecting my monitors max supported refresh rate). One thing I'm going to try is lowering the resolution so I can play at a higher refresh rate, although I doubt that is the core problem since I've already previously produced the results I want (albeit at separate times). What is that program that forces your applications to run at your desired frequency? RefreshForce? Is there someone out there who may be able to help me find out what I could be doing right at times, and wrong at most. I am playing this game in a clan, so I would like to always have the ability to run it in perfect 3d. I'd be forever grateful. I apologize for the overly long post, but I just wanted to give as much info as I could for a better shot at getting this working correctly. Would there be anyone who may be able to give me some live support on this issue via instant messenger? |

Are you using the E-D.exe? If so, you may want to try turning it off and seeing if it works then. |

Yes, I'm using the program, and it is the ONLY way that I can get my glasses to turn on. When I turn the program off, the glasses seem to make several attempts at turning on in game, but no dice. I've gotten the effects that I want before with the program on, so I am assuming that it isn't the problem. |
