Please help! So far I don't get any stereo!

While is dual-view mode the medical test image results in a doubled view (split screen on my left monitor). The test application results in no stereo. If I disable my second monitor it's even worse; I just get error messages for the test applications!

Stereo does not enable in games either.

Here are my specs:
Matching 56.72 drivers
Windows XP Pro
GeForce4 ti4600 Dual-head
DirectX 9b (test apps work fine)

Just to try and reduce some variables can you try your system in Shutterglasses mode, StereoViewerType=1? Do you see images side by side in this case or do you see an alternating image pair? (Don't need the glasses to check this) This may help to determine if it's a system issue or something being done wrong for dual projection.

Stereogamer,

I tried StereoViewerType=1 also and I get the same results. I didn't get an alternating image pair like I expected. I think I've tried just about every setting possible so I think the drivers did not get installed properly. Peter Wimmer said that he couldn't get the 56.72 drivers to work unless he installed them using the "update driver" function instead of NVIDIA's setup program. I have yet to try that. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Well, this means that it's a general stereo issue on this machine and not a specific issue with Dual Projection mode. For what it's worth it eliminates one variable.

There are issues with dual head boards and activating stereo on the right head. You might
try switching the primary head to see if that helps or even disconnecting on device on one of the heads. Not sure it will help, but it's simple to try.

Stereogamer,

Thank you so much! Switching the primary head fixed made stereo work! Hooray! I never would have guessed that!
