Good day everyone. I have an opportunity to by asus VR100 glasses, with or without the upgrade controller. I do not have an Asus card and I do not intend to purchase one. Can I use the controller with other cards and drivers, or should I buy only the glasses and build a controller of my own ? The other question is this: I'm planning a big upgrade soon and my mind is set on a Radeon 9800 pro. Just how bad is the support for glasses with new ATI cards ? I know it's pretty bad, I signed the petition and sent feedback to ATI but I want to know now often do the non-native drivers like that from E-D or VRcaddy work with ATI cards ? Many thanks |

I just thought of one more thing: Assuming I get the glasses and an Nvidia card, would I need anything besides the latest Nvidia driver to use the glasses ? |

Yes, you need a CRT that goes at least 100hz, preferrably 120hz at the desired resolution. - StereoGamer |
