Sorry a typo in the previous post.

The glasses doesn't work with Samtron 96P + Gainward 3D glasses. I know they work in an other machine with a Belinea monitor.
In both cases Asus GF4 4400. Win XP. NVidia 56.72 drivers.

Is there any known remedy ?

Ok none aswered so I'll answer myself. The trick is to install the manufacturers monitor driver, the MS driver doesn't work in stereo
