Hi, this is a very interesting forum. I've been fiddling around with stereo 3D since I worked at Silicon Graphics (SGI) about 8 years ago. Can someone please explain why shutter glasses wouldn't work with a 60Hz TFT screen. Here's my logic: I have Nvidia Stereo drivers. If I use page flipping, won't I get a 30Hz (admittedly not ideal) picture: left eye blanked out - right eye gets image, 1/60 sec later reverse process etc. I thought that's how it worked. I use DVI so I'm sure there'd be problems with interaced methods, but why not page flipping? I read some people mentioning polarisation. I'd be grateful for some insight. Thanks. |
