I dug out my old ELSA Revelator 3d which was connected formerly to a graphics board 3 generations ago and tried to get it working on my current Gainward board with the GForce FX 5600XT chip. I downloaded the newest drivers version 61.77 for both board and stereo and installed it. When I try to activate the stereo driver in the control panel, I get a warning dialog box saying "Close application DirectX or OpenGL and click OK" (or something like this, I translated it from my German error message). Of course, there aren't any DirectX or OpenGL applications running in the background! When I click on OK, the screen goes black for a second, and then everything is the same. The control panel says "activated" although this is not the case. When trying to show the medical test picture, I get a "NVidia stereo features not enabled" error box. Is there any way to solve this problem? Or is the Revelator just too old? Any help is greatly appreciated! |

Found solution at following discussion: http://www.stereo3d.com/discus/messages/22/2792.html?1095005664 Fix is to install old stereo driver then overwrite with new driver. See discussion for details. |
