Hi, I own an ATI 9800 Pro and last week bought some EDimensional shutter glasses. Now, I learn that: 1) ATI is only half-supported and I'm stuck with the interlaced 3D mode which is pretty ugly. 2) OpenGL doesn't work at all. In light of this, I'm trying to make the best of a bad situation! Can anyone recommend games that work well with ATI & EDimensional? I've tried: UT2K4 : Aliasing really bad, due to reduced vertical resolution (interlacing). 3D effect works pretty well though, if you can get past the ugliness. GTAIII: Best I've found so far, because I can crank the resolution pretty high. Half Life: Doesnt' work in OpenGL nor in DirectX Doom 3: OpenGL. Doesn't work. Return to Castle Wolfenstein: OpenGL. Doesn't work. Please post your ATI games recommendations here. ...I'm a little bit gutted that ATI is so poorly supported since their logo is on the glasses' box. I've emailed ATI to ask for stereo support (http://apps.ati.com/driverfeedback/) and am currently planning my email to EDimensional asking how their driver-writing is coming along! Only just bought this ATI card to replace my NVidia card, too... |

While it's a rocking card you might want to return it and get a Nvidia based card. That is if you want Stereo that works. John |

Johns right. The quality difference between interlaced and page flipping is like playing a game at 640*480 and then cranking things up to 1600*1200. edim have come a long way but are far less than perfect. Bummer mate. Everyone will advise the same. |

Yeah, it's too late to return it sadly, so I'm probably going to shelve the glasses until my next hardware revision. But in the meantime, can anyone suggest games that work pretty well in Interlaced mode? Like I said, GTA3 works pretty good. What about the old DirectX Unreal 1 engine games like Deus Ex? Any other suggestions for a bummed ATI owner? |

Well, since no-one else is forthcoming, I'll post my findings as I find them. Deus Ex: Won't load alongside eDimensional Controller, even if fully patched up to date. |

That's a good question though... I still haven't manage to get the bundled 3-d combine software to show pictures using opengl. So, do anybody know about any game demos etc. that would work nicely with 3-d glasses? |

Toby no one was responding (apart from the guy above) because everyone that has tried this has found that it doesn't work and when it does that is does not work that well. I'd rather play games I want to rather than games I have to because the driver only works with them. For a quick review of games that do work google up edimensionals australian distributer. He has a list on his site. Unclebob |

Nolf2 is working too :-) I tried it with a 9800pro, LCD 17" and ANOTHEREY2000(but ED-Drivers;-) It works, but the Picture is too dark. Playing around with gamma setting didnt helped. |

Is there a list of nVidia games with some ratings? Aside the paltry amount that came with my drivers? Perhaps with useful info on optimisation too. I know I'm being greedy, but if such a list isn't in existence I'm sure we can cook one up between us. |
