I ordered the Virtual FX and NuView package from buypcmods.com on November 15 (2004). Because they didn't encrypt their web pages, I used PayPal (as directed) instead of a credit card. They promptly took the money from my PayPal account and notified me both via email and the website that my order was "in transit". After waiting a couple weeks for it to show up, nada. Several email messages sent both in reply to the messages they sent me and by the response form on the web page went unanswered. I telephoned their toll free number and the guy on the phone told me that they just don't fulfil orders placed with PayPal anymore (even though at this very second, it's still listed as a payment option)! They had no intention of ever filling my order! He said that obviously I was a real person, since I called, and they should fill the order, but he'd have to talk to the owner, Paul Belinne. Since then, I've been unable to call them. Their number seems to have been disconnected. They still don't answer my email, but it doesn't bounce either. They've still got my money and I still don't have my stuff. Are these guys just crooks and liars or... well, something worse, I guess? Does anyone have a real postal address for them? |

I have since talked to the owner directly (via AIM, transcript available if anyone cares), who told me he'd straighten it out and then didn't do anything. These guys are nothing but scam artists, which is sad, because from other comments on these boards, it was not always so. |

Why in Hell's Heart would you buy from a website that didn't have an "encrypted"/secure checkout with a credit card? If you had, the CC company would've given you a refund by now. Just to save a few bucks is no reason to shop stupid. I purchased from edimensional and the fedex arrived in 24 hours. |

I did business with them in March to buy the Nuview 3d camera adaptor. I used PayPal to pay for the item, I must admit; there was some "strangeness" to the transaction but I did get the Nuview within 2 weeks and it works fine. |

I also ordered the nuview and virtual fx from them a few months ago and had no problems at all. They had the best price I could find and it arrived in about 2 weeks after I placed the order. You sure this is not some kind of mix up? |
