I just baught the revelators (wired version) and can't get them to work! The drivers are insatlled correctly, I get the screen to pageflip (or whatever it is called), but the glasses don't start shutting on and off.. My monitor has on the OSD an entry called "DDC 1/2B" option and it is set to on. I tried also with the off setting.. When I load 3dmark 2000 as I said the screen trembles, but the glasses do nothing.. If i press the "-" button to turn on/off the stereo effect, sometimes I get the glasses to give one or two flashes, but they dn't flash continusly.. Please help me! |

I took my glasses and went to a friend who has an Elsa Erazor III Lt (thats tnt 2 m64). The glasses worked fine! So I know te glasses are not broken..Next step, I get my friend's Erazor and go home.. I put the erazor in my pc, load the drivers and ...nothing! Now I know there's something wrong with my configuration.. I format the hard disk and proceed to install windows 98 again..I have the erazor in the machine.. I load the erazor drivers, no sound drivers for my live, and presto!! it works! Now I remove the erazor drivers from the control panel and install my card (chronos geforce 2 mx with tv out chrontel chip). I have to say I had flashed my card with the elsa gloria mx bios. So I install the elsa gladiac drivers. Now there are two versions. One that supports stereo mode and one that doesn't. Of course I installed the correct.. I load also the revealtor driver and....no 3d :-( I remove my card and insert the erazor again..Of course I remove the drivers.. Now the erazor doesn't work in stereo !!!! I also tried to flash my mx back to it's original bios and instaling the elsa generic drivers, but also no 3d effect.. Nomatter what I did , I didn't manage to reproduce the stereo effect even with the erazor again... I only installed dx7a Any comment? Any sugestion ? Any help?? |

Make sure you have your refersh rate set to at least 100hz or the reverlator glasses will not go into shutter mode. I had the same problem before I realized I had to force the refresh rate for my monitor to 100hz then they started working. You can do this by using the direct X diagnostics I forget what tab, but it's the one on the far right, specify a custom refresh rate of at least 100hz, but make sure your monitor can handle the refresh rate at whatever resolution you want to use the glasses at. I cant go above 640 by 480 at 100hz refresh or my monitor blanks meaning I've exceeded the resolution/refresh rate capability of my monitor. Yea it's a pretty cr__py monitor. Just an idea. Good Luck. |
