It could be your monitor refresh rate is not met. Have you try to check the "disable monitor check" box under advanced->display popup ? |

First of all check the documentation which functions are available under Win2000. The stereo functions may not be fully implemented yet. Generally Win2000 is not a good choice for stereo-gaming - yet! There are more problems.1 At least Half-Life and Quake2 are OpenGL titles. They need special treatment. Read the VR-readmes which came with the drivers. For OpenGL you have to choose very high resolutions. Use 1600x1200 to achieve 800x600 in stereo! Christoph |

OSD must be chosen in the driver panel. Read the info on OpenGL gaming, the game must be set to double resolution to work. 1280*1024 to work in 640*480. If your monitor cannot be set to that high resolution for the menu, the it won't work at all. Starting in 640*480 or 800x600 means NO STEREO with Asus OpenGL drivers. |

Let me see if i understood: U need to play the game at 1280x1060 to can make 2 stereo images of 640x480... My monitor can handle 100 Hz at 800x600, but at 1200 he do only 60 Hz. So, Can't I play Stereo Games? Anyway, I've tested this high resolution and the glass keep flipping. Worst: the image produced by the Stereoscopic mode from Asus driver comes separated. Left image at left side of screen, and right image at right side, one separated from another... They should be together and flipping, shouldn't they? |

Yes they should. By the way, when configuring a resolution of 1280x1024 in OpenGL stereo mode the output signal will be a 640x480 one. So your monitor doesn't have to support the higher resolution. The configuration of the high resolution seems to be just a trick to reserve enough video-memory for the flipping. Choose 1600x1200 for 800x600 in stereo. Also try a higher refresh rate. Which game did you run? Christoph |
