I would love to use my Revelator glasses with other cards besides the cards ELSA's drivers use. From what I can tell the controler at http://members.xoom.com/_XMCM/a_r_schulz/LCD_controller2.html would work. Anyone know if theis would work, or if there would be a better controler for me to use that will allow me to use diffrent drivers than ELSA's? Thanks |

Assuming first you have found a legal source for 'different drivers than ELSA's' (as there are Wicked3D and VRCaddy - both AFAIR only come together with glasses). VRCaddy should work with Revelators if you add the corresponding driver from the full WinX3D distribution. OK - you got me, trying to talk you out of using my old PLL sync-doubling circuit. Well, go ahead and give it a try, but expect some jitter in the doubled VSync output. A little experience in building electronic circuits is recommended. I only wished I could find some time to strip that line-blnking switch off my new µC circuit to get something really stable, useful and easy to build, but there's always so much else to do currently (all those 'Honey/Daddy would you please just...' and giving stupid answers to stupid questions at discussion boards ;-) |

Just to be sure, is the board I have linked to this "sync-doubling circut" you were reffering to? |
