Posted on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 - 2:44 pm:    You did not mention which player you use. Anyways - both - MKV and MP4 are rather generally badly supported encapsulation formats. I would generally recommend to rather pick AVI as encapsulation format when creating these as it has the best compatibility with all known players.
