Hi, I have recently bought a new Home cinema set that I connected to my computer using an optical S/PDIF cable. In order to play surround sound, I need to encode my audio to AC3 live, whilst playing the video. FFDshow has a great option for that. I use it in MPC-HC, and it works perfectly. I also use FFDshow in stereoscopic player, but when I play a 5.1 video file it doesn't play it back with 5.1 AC3 audio. Instead it plays 5.1 PCM audio, which is played as 2.0 by the bluray player. i've also asked for a solution on videohelp. There you can find screenshots and other information about the problem. forum.videohelp.com/threads/375263-SPDIF-in-Stereoscopic-Player-issue I figured out that SP has it's own audio filter, that outputs PCM audio, and does not allow the AC3 audio to pass. Thanx! |
