There will be no more support for the revelator even with Elsa Card´s. Elsa is only providing NVIDIA´s reference drivers without revelator support. The old driver with revelator support does´nt work with newer games. Fuck, they fooled me! Any ideas ? |

The thing is pretty simple - you'r wrong Elsa and Nvidia Now work to insert revelator support inside the reference drivers... thus u can already get a beta version of detonator 12.00 at www.stereovision.net with revelator support. remember - this is only beta thus doesn't yet contains all the features that were in Elsa's driver. when it will reach the final version it should be much better than this from Elsa, will support laserpoint, anaglyph glasses and probably lots of other stuff so don't curse Elsa just yet. |

Thank´s for the information, found that fact by myself after a day in the net. But I still have to curse ELSA because I phoned the tech support and they told me nothing about the new 12.00 beta driver. And the fact is that there is no proper working driver from ELSA at this time. Not every user is able to handle the registry and try around with beta drivers. So ELSA is fooling the people who bought an expensive GPU wit the revelator. But let´s be optimistic about NVIDIA´s work. |

some additional info - Beta drivers aren't supposed to be mentioned by Elsa as they are for inner testing. maybe the company leaks them on purpose but Elsa is not allowed officially to reccomend them. As i mentioned, both Elsa and Nvidia work on these new drivers - they take Elsa's driver and modify it to support newest cards, T&L and so on.. in addition you can always try to use the generic driver from Elsa based on 5.30 which supports most of the cards and runs with most of the games ( i didn't find any exceptions except with project IGI where i had to use an older driver and not a newer one ). If u want to use the generic driver with your Elsa card get my genfixg4 patch at www.stereovision.net |

One exception is Microsoft´s Crimson Skies. What is the advantage of the generic driver compared to the latest ELSA Driver v4.12.01.0206-0150 ? By the way, I tried Det 12.00 and it worked with Elite Force. A little sunshine after a day of trying and trying. But Crimson Skies crashes with this driver and a lot of other games too. Seems there is still a lot of work to do for NVIDIA. I hope they dont give up like others! |

Anyone know anything about Windows 2000 support of these things? I called tech support and got nothing but your screwed out of them. BTW, the next Elsa video card will not be supporting these things. Dan |

THe generic driver is has some bugfixes and allows you to switch to any other driver u had before u install it, so it's to in one - u can use both the Elsa cards driver and the generic one for instance get the info here: http://www.stereovision.net/legrandduc/e3fix.htm |
