I broke down and bought the 4 in 1 premium package to try out with a game called everquest. My current setup is an AMD 800Mhz, 256 megs ram, voodoo5 video card, 21" cornerstone p1500 monitor. I was wondering if anyone has been able to get everquest to work with these 3D glasses, or am I stuck buying a pair of revelators and an ELSA video board. Please help! Also, the 4 in 1 comes with the 3D PowerDVD program. Will this turn any DVD into 3D? Or are there only like 20 DVD's that are 3D? Thanks |

>>> I was wondering if anyone has been able to get everquest to work with these 3D glasses, Sorry, I don't know if it's possible with the current Wicked3D drivers. You can as well download the latest VRCaddy and WINx3D drivers from www.vrcaddy.com and try it this way. >>>or am I stuck buying a pair of revelators and an ELSA video board. No, no, no you have the Eye3D Premium. You won't have to buy any other glasses ever! The glasses work with any driver. Only the driver is the problem. If you fail with the Voodoo you can buy ANY NVidia board and use the NVidia reference stereo driver. I recommend ASUS boards, since they also work in ASUS-hardware-page-flipping mode. The only limitation of the Eye3D compared to the Revelator is that you have to control the stereo-orientation manually by pushing the reverse-button if necessary. >>>Also, the 4 in 1 comes with the 3D PowerDVD program. Will this turn any DVD into 3D? No, as far as I know the current version only works with above-below-split-screen format 3D-MPEG2 files. >>>Or are there only like 20 DVD's that are 3D? I'm not aware of any DVD's in the proper 3D-format, but there are announcements. Christoph |
