I have a GeForce2MX and every time I try to start up any 3D game my computer locks up when I run in Direct3D mode. When I set OpenGL I get an error message saying "glide2x.dll expected Voodoo, none detected". Deleting the glide2x.dll file doesn't help, it still runs in a window but without the error message. I can run full screen in software mode but that is just too slow. I reinstalled the game Unreal Tournament, patched it, reinstalled my GeForce and installed the latest drivers but still my computer crashes right after I try to start the game up. When I installed my old video card, an ATI Rage Pro, the same thing. Oddly I also get the crash when I try to run any of the demos that came with the GeForce. My system is: Processor: Celeron 633 MHz Operating System: Windows 98 (second ed.) Garphics card: Creative Blaster GeForce2MX Any help is welcome. Thanks in advance. |
