I recently purchased a V7700 deluxe board. I can't seem to get the VR glasses to work in anything except VR viewer. My monitor is capable of 640x480-120Hz, and 800x600-100Hz. I could not get it to work with SOF (Soldier of Fortune), the game that it shipped with (or any other game for that matter). When I try to use the OSD software, it won't let me check the enable stereo button. It will let me adjust color, gamma, etc. I looked all over the web for answers but could not find what I was doing wrong. Can you please point me to a link that shows me step by step what to do, or can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? I am using version 6.31c of the ASUS driver. Would a different driver work better? |

I got the same problems on my Win2k, but the nVidia new driver (version ) didn't work for me. And I tried all the following drivers either from Asus or nVidia: Asus 5.33 Asus 6.49 Asus 14.62 nVidia 12.41 nVidia 21.83 nVidia 23.11 and, of course, the new Stereoscopic nVidia driver: 23.11 Right now, i have installed the Asus 14.62 with the nVidia 23.11 stereo driver. My VR Picture Viewer, suddenly, doesn't work anymore. It can't set correctly the refresh rate. But, when I manually put resolution at 800x600 100 mhz, the glass stop blinks. That's all. I know the page-flipping is working, but cant make it work on a software or game. |
