Hello, I`m using the eye3d glasses with Radeon 64DDR over an CRT-Projektor.I`m a bit frustrated now, because the only thing is working is the test-screen from the wicked driver, but only interlaced.I hve tested Star trek and bought me yesterday " WHEEL OF TIME" but always, when i will start the game, the computer shows a blank screen and is hanging. In sync-Doubling mode I always have two screens. (a lower and an upper), and i don?t know why.The projektor can Image above 130 Khz Horizontal and iguess 200 Hz vertical. I hope for some replays, and greetings puschi |

AFAIK, the Wicked drivers are interlaced-only. It's not really noticeable if you get the resolution high enough (1280x1024 at least). I have had a lot of problems with the eDimensional glasses and my Radeon 64 DDR as well. The game support is dodgy at best. I have also noticed the lower/upper image you mention, as well as the blank screen. Here are the things I did that finally fixed it: - Change the resolution. I can use 640x480, 1024x768, 1280x1024, etc. but get a black screen every time I try 800x600 - Remove any other pass-through devices or other hardware. I had a Voodoo2 in addition to my Radeon, and I just couldn't get the glasses to work with both of them in the system (I got the upper/lower image problem) - Use the latest Wicked3d drivers. The 5.02 were the best for me. - Get lots of RAM. For some reason (and this wasn't a problem with the 4.12 or 4.11 drivers) the new Wicked3d drivers suck up a lot of system RAM. When I had 128MB, many of my 3d games crashed a LOT with the 5.02 (but, again, not the 4.12 or 4.11) - upping it to 384MB fixed this. |
