I was forced to upgrade DirectX 8.0 into DirectX 8.1 . The VFX3D Control Panel starts to crash as the results ... For evrybody with this problem I have a solution: 1) Do not delete your vfx.ini file !! or make an driver reistal !! The vfx.ini contains correct configuration ... 2) Delete the VFXControl.exe key from registry tu suppres VFXControl panel crash during computer startup ... (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->Software->Microsoft->Windows->CurrentVersion-RUn in regedit.exe) 3) The tracking will normaly work (it is directed by VFXrundi.exe witch work O.K.). Use nVida drivers for stereoscopy ... |

Funny thing, Quake2 or Quake3 now wont run , even when not using the VFX3D.. Not opening the opengl or something but both games crash, I guess a format is in the works and directx8.1 wont work and it messes up the games afterwards.. |
