Christoph,

I take it from your explanation that we can't register for this site because you can't move the database to an upgraded forum package that has auto-verification via email comfirmation (hopefully with non-machine-readable authentication codes).

Do you just need some time or money to do so? I'm sure there are enough people willing to give both to help if you ask.

This forum has been perhaps the best place for 3D discussion on the web, so I'm sad to see it maligned due to SPAM-posting-bots, anonymous flaming/trolling and user impersonation.
