I have found some information about software coled VirtualTV (announced in th 1999 year news as well). The main link to the WWW is: http://www.3dtelevision.de/ Detailed information: http://www.3dbrille.de/hauptteil_testberichte/3DTV/3dtv.html Evrything is in German language .... I have studied the specification and I do not realy belive that it can works as described ... Does anybody have some experiences with this product ? |

Several companies are working in the area of '2D-to-3D conversion'. They try to get 3D-information out of the differences between frames. Pulfrich works this way. Digital technology allows more manipulations in this direction. Anyway I'm strictly against any pseudo-3D and 2D-to-3D devices and software. Christoph |

VirtualTV declares procesing the signal from true stereoscopic cammera as an option. That is why I ask how the software works ... I am agins the pseudo 3D and 2D to 3D conversions as well ... Using this techniques realy degrade the stereoscopy ... |

>>>VirtualTV declares procesing the signal from true stereoscopic cammera as an option. Having a real stereo source and doing 2D-conversion are two totally different things. If they throw both into one software product, well that's their choice. Christoph |
