Capture from VHS to SVCD or DVD ?

Since VHS do not have big definition what is the format for capture ? I have asus 6800 card and can capture 704x480 in 3D and 640X480 in 3D. so from VHS id 640X480 OK? and for the format, I have: ASVI ( High Quality ) ASUS video ASVI UYVY 24BIT RBG 16BIT RBG or 8 BIT ....   Anonymous Rating: N/A Votes: 0 (Vote!) Posted on Saturday, June 22, 2002 - 12:57 pm:    do test capturing and see what keeps the stereo information, try the highest resolution and the asus format hi q and UYVY. If you afterwards can playback the files with the interlace intact, congratulations. Use your vrviewer image sw to set the glasses and play the movie with any player. If you afterwards want to do make a DVD, get other software and do whatever you want, its a 2step process, capture first, edit later.
