Ladies and Gentlemen, DLP is the near future of 3D imaging. I've been following this technology for some time, and DLP would even work with an HMD far better than any other image projection system. Since it is manufactured using standard silicon processing techniques you can plan on the cost of the technology halving every 2 years, putting the most advanced 3D HDTV within anyone's budget in about 6 years (about $2000, and that's at 110 Hz, 50 inch screen, HDTV resolution, absolutely NO ghosting, using nearly clear and absolutely uncolored cheap non-flickering joe-blo polarized glasses). |

At SMAU in Milan about 1 month ago BARCO told me they aren't still ready with STEREO DLP PROJECTION (there are not fixed troubles). Let's hope Christie is a step ahead. |
