Yesterday nVidia released Detonator 40.71beta for 2k/XP and 9x + Stereo driver 30.87 (replacing 30.82) In this combination under XP I don't get a no stereo menu in the display settings. Am I alone or is this a general problem? I would be grateful if someone could try this too. Thank you Christoph | ||

Funny, I had installed it yesterday also and noticed this very same problem. I had to revert back to my 30.82's. I hope this isn't a sign that NVidia is dropping stereoscopic support in future driver versions :0 | ||

Just another warning: The latest drivers are both nvTrap and SoftQuadro protected ... No way how to modify GeFoerce 2/3 to Quadro in software way now (without drivers downgrading) ... | ||

I've got an answer from nVidia: "This is intentional. You are not supposed to mix versions of the regular driver and the stereo driver. As such we version check the stereo control panel and don't load it if the versions don't match. 40.71 is a beta driver and there is no released stereo driver to go with it yet." Christoph | ||
