As mention before, I wonder if we can increase FOV using magnifying glasses? My idea is if we can get an optician to custom make a prescribe glasses with manifying power, we can wear it before wearing the HMD. This would in theory enlarge the image and thus increase the FOV. I'm currently thinking of buying an i-glasses SVGA 3D. My major concern is just like others, SVGA resolution and low FOV. XGA would be an optimal solution as mostly I play games and watch DVD movie on this resolution. The experiment can be easily conduct if you have a friend who is far-sighted. |
